As 2022 gets underway, Arts Education Network of Ontario is launching our first one on one Knowledge Exchange Program for Members. This program will be an opportunity for interested members to be paired with another interested member for a series of monthly check-ins to discuss a question or prompt provided by the Arts Education Network board.
What is a knowledge exchange program? We know that our members have a wealth of knowledge and skills to share. We also know that the opportunity to learn from peers in the industry, ask questions and build connections can sometimes take a back seat to other priorities. The Knowledge Exchange Program will allow members to meet once a month (online, on the phone or in person - whatever format and time suits you!) to explore a question or topic related to your own professional growth. While some people may be familiar with the concept of mentorship or peer to peer learning, we truly see this program as a knowledge exchange between and amongst our members.
What do I need to do in order to participate? To get started, we are hosting a Kick Off Meeting on Wednesday, January 26th from 12pm-1pm. Sign up at the Eventbrite link HERE. This will be a chance to hear more about the program, meet other members who may be interested in participating and give you the chance to ask questions. This meeting will be open to members and non-members, however, only paying members of Arts Ed Network can participate in the knowledge exchange. If you are currently not a paying member and wish to join this exciting new program, we wish to remind you that membership starts as low as $25/year for a subsidized individual.
